out·ra·geous
outˈrājəs

1. very bold, unusual, and startling

When I was growing up, I used to love to watch a cartoon called Jem and the Holograms. Hollywood recently tried to put out a movie based on the cartoon that flopped horribly but that happens when you try to modernize a classic to appeal to a younger crowd that knows nothing about the original yet you change it so much the people that LOVED the original are scratching their heads, but I digress.

Anyway Jem was “truly outrageous“. Larger than life. In the 80s, lots of little girls wanted to be “outrageous” just like Jem. Today’s post is about embracing that feeling of being bold. I encourage you to make it your job today to be outrageous. Make it a daily practice. Be more self-confident and strive to live a more exceptional and outrageous life.  Become an outrageous giver. Share your gifts and time with the world and give beyond normal expectations. Don’t know where to start, start with making a choice to be bolder. There are no rules as to how you can be more outrageous. You just make a choice to live bolder, to live with more passion and realize that we only get one trip as we are on this crazy planet so we might as well live it to the full.

Outrageous behavior, also known as the lunatic fringe, is the seed bed of innovation and creativity. – Joel Salatin
