Perfect words spoken by @yvettenicolebrown
“It’s what you’d do even if there was no pay. It’s how you spent your free time as a kid. It’s what you do on your day off after you’ve slept and completed your to do list. It’s the thing that you’re good at that you haven’t given yourself permission to dream of as a career. It’s what you may have been told was impractical or not a sure thing. Again, all this make its your Calling IF it helps more than just you and yours and IF you’re gifted to it. Callings are not selfish or ego-driven. Passions can be. Your call NEVER is…or never should be, I’ll say. You’ve got to guard your Call. It’s your reason for being.”
Gift vs. Passion. I agree with @IAmSteveHarveyTV Pursuing what you've been gifted by God to do, what you're Called to do is the arena where you will make the most impact in your life and the lives of others. Thoughts? What's your gift/Call? What's your passion? Are they one in the same? That's when you're truly blessed. #MerryChristmasEve! UPDATE: If by chance you think this post is a great place for your "comedy" stylings in regards to the Miss Universe situation, you'd be wrong. Respect the wisdom of this post, drop a Selah or an Amen if you will. The rest…naw. Not today.
