Inspiration Board: Mystery Inc Modern Kids Room Who misses Saturday morning cartoons in the 70s and 80s? As I kid, I looked forward to waking up Saturday morning and watching shows like Smurfs, Transformers, and Tom and Jerry. My personal favorite cartoon of the 70s and 80s has to be Scooby Doo. I love to solve a good mystery which is probably why I love crime investigating shows as an adult. Since I’ve gotten my son into Scooby Doo, we’ve been thinking about changing his currently superhero room into his very own Mystery Machine. My husband wants to build a Mystery Machine bed for our son but I can’t go for the literal interpretations. Not sure what it is about Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Freddy but I love watching those meddling kids. Here’s a great collection of modern interpretations of this TV cartoon classic. The only mystery here is where these fun finds were when we were kids.
